Mate I still haven't heard from the plumbing commision about the practical exam.

I met a scottish plumber at my house buils the other day and he said he had to do 6 months college and let me tell you he's a lot more qualified than me and he said he can't earn a decent living and thought I was probably getting paid more at $21 an hour.

He also said the commision were no help at all, but this I already knew.

They've got it good and can ppick their jobs it's a sellers market they don't want it becoming a buyers one, hence the skills shortage IMO.

Stick with it and it'll all come good. I'm amazed at you and yours how you keep on going. Really admire you guys.

Cheers

Nah it's not that bad, it may take a few years but once we are both working with no mortgage we should be quite comfortable and be able to afford to live the dream.

I've never rid a bike and frankly don't trust myself on one :scared:

I used to be a postie in London about 17 years ago

I just went back out to the car to bring my work stuff in and Bobby who I was talking to ten minutes ago thinks I've just come in from work and ran up to me arms wide

Fraser - I just love reading your posts! You never fail to amaze - you should write a book. It would definitely bring a smile to my face but sad to say at your expense, but I have to admire the way you just soldier on.

Incidentally, isn't about time you were given your own key :

"when I came back and knocked on the door"

Best wishes

Don't really need one as we only have one car and everywhere's too far to walk so if I go out Rachel's always at home with the kids.

Landlord only gave us one set
