I'm still waiting for a date and I passed the test in October - looks like the earliest will be March.
My wife booked her test a few weeks ago and has been given a date in June!

Have you heard about the plans on the test? Many are failing, so they are going to make it easier.

Ridiculous how could it be made any easier? It's piss easy as it is. Headline in today's West Australian is that the gov. is considering allowing tests in a foreign language. Which is kind of defeating the object. I could see before the election that as soon as we got a socialist gov. like we do now that they would go soft on immigration/refugees and it looks like it's happening.

It's because they can't read English very well, so the book didn't work for them. Many were failing when i was there (most of them not from UK). I read the book and without that i think i would have failed. Infact i enjoyed reading it, good insight. So from not wanting any immigrants who can't speak English, now they're not bothered. Sounds abit like UK.

The book is good - I learnt a lot from it.
This is what happens. One small crack is allowed and then before you know it the whole door is open and it's like the UK or New Zealand.

Absolutely. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7215624.stm makes interesting reading and speculation as to the future of the UK.

The three of us got a tree each and if we'd gone down the religious side instead of the normal side, we'd have gotten a bible each as well.
