Got it!!!
Just had confirmation..as of the 5th May 2008, I will be commencing employment with Queensland Rail National, as a Trainee Freight Train Driver in Mackay!!! I have accepted and am currently very, very happy!
It has only taken a year to get this job but I am so chuffed - the process was pretty tough to say the least! So..............waddya know about Mackay? Was gonna visit this weekend but have been reliably informed that most of it is currently underwater! :eek: Luckily my initial training is largely in Brisbane so the missus doesnt need to upsticks til August - I will just commute til then (half and half Bris and Mackay) - after that we will up sticks and move north for good! Time to celebrate :beer: :beer: :thumbsup::thumbsup: |
