Default Google earth- see where your going

Hi guys,

i've never seen a thread on google earth yet on here, it's great, you can zoom down and see cars, houses and shopping malls - not to mention the thousands of other things!!!!
You have to download the application, it's available for pc & macs now, for anyone curious on where there thinking of going it's a must.
I've noticed the east coast is in a lot more detail awell.

Do it now - what you waiting for?

Hi Chris,
Google Earth has actually been mentioned on here a few times before, but I agree, it is good to look at.

I have used Google Earth and where we are now is in really good detail and also really clear but when we looked at where our house is in the UK it was just a big blurry mess.

We found it a huge help, especially for our 7yr old boy, who was able to see our new home, his new school, the walk to the beach etc etc It really helped him understand what was happening and where we were going.

It gives you the ability to spy on things that happened 5 years ago...

google is great, shame I can't get broadband so can't get it! there's a good tourist site for Oz with a link to it which works even if you don't have broadband - pm me and I'll post link if interested.

blurry when they delibrately want less definition, as in you can't see whether the queen is in at buckingham palace! some parts of the world are really close up, you can see wakes of boats in harbours etc but then middle of NSW, nothing at all as basically not a lot of call for close ups there!
