Whilst not agreeing with the death penalty... Man did what he had to in his own home to protect himself....

Unfortunately the bloke bled to death.... But In his line of work he probably knew it wouldnt be a workers comp claim...

First Class result!

If we had more incidents like this resulting in more dead burglars I am sure the number of burglaries would drop. All judges ever do is give burglars a slap on the wrist and tell them not to do it again.

A great result but why do we have to know that he lives in a detached house? Does it matter?

A perculiarly British trait.

A lawyer was interviewed on the radio and his comment was that this will mean that burglars will feel the need to arm themselves, where before they haven't, just so they can fell protected:blink:

No. If you don't want to risk being injured/killed when a home owner is protecting their possessions and family, don't go out ****ing burgling:frown:

Martin someone shot and killed one and wounded another. The mistake he made was informing the police. Had he buried them on his not insubstanial block of land, no one would have missed them.

And cheers by the way.

Sad to say he was a bit ninepence himself. The miscreants were travelling folk who had bothered him before. Their usual M.O. of picking on the weak.

It's all coming back to you now isn't it.

I think they let him out after a couple of years. Public outcry and all that.
