Yep.................on to my 2nd tin. One of the drawbacks of stopping smoking.
Great healthwise, feel a lot better without the cough but stink of gloss due to having to go over all the yellow (nicotine) coloured paint!
Oh well soon be time for a

God yes, I painted the kitchen weeks ago, I did most of the skirting then, BUT I forgot one bit and it is still waiting to be done. I may get round to it before we put it on the market LOL.

All the doors need doing in the house (7) but I am trying to persuade him indoors that it may be better to get new ones

God i can sooooooo relate to this thread

Whilst Alan's been painting walls and putting up skirting board (not on himself but on the wall )
I've been glossing said skirting and door frames and just about anything that moves!!!!
Now i've got to start painting walls in kitchen but only coz he's on night shift!
Will this ever end!!!!????

I've been telling my wife that I am useless at that for so long now, that I can't even remember if it's true or not

Anyway, she is getting better at it

I wouldn't have gloss in any house of mine, except the one I am in where Nutty Nora put the bloody stuff all over the place. Will cover it up eventually but that is a nightmare in itself. Can't bear gloss - looks crap IN MY OPINION is a nightmare to put on without making a mess or having brush strokes and is just horrible. But hey, you go for it
