That's terrible Dorothy. But there is hope - I have a family member who was addicted to heroin and it took a long time but he finally made it through his umpteenth rehab and has stayed clean for nearly 20 years now - he left the music industry for a while and went back to nature, found god and he's a happy, healthy man. I hope it works out for your family.

The myth that drug users come from dysfunctional backgrounds is just that isn't it, a myth.

I am teetering on the brink with my teenager so am beginning to have some sense of the problems you have had.

RIP Cory and my thoughts are with anyone dealing with substance abuse in their family.
