Default Gladys Berejiklian Applies For COVID-19 Disaster Payments

After two hours navigating the Services Australia website, made worse by the dial up speeds of the Parliamentary NBN connection, Berejiklian was able to submit her form for processing.

It later emerged that under ‘Employer Name’, Berijiklian accidentally entered ‘Daryl Maguire’ before deleting it and re-entering ‘Scott Morrison’.

It is anticipated that her application will be rejected due to her willing resignation from the job, meaning she will be referred to the Jobseeker Pathway instead.

Default Re: Gladys Berejiklian Applies For COVID-19 Disaster Payments

She had to go, her poor judgement has always been her major flaw. Remember the debacle that was The Ruby Princess? It has been one abject failure after another.

"an inquiry found New South Wales health authorities made "serious mistakes" in allowing about 2,650 passengers to disembark when the ship docked in Sydney in March....... NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said she was particularly sorry to the 62 people who had caught the virus from passengers who disembarked."

Not as sorry as they were.

14th August | Australia: New South Wales 'in worst ever Covid situation:
NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said some people had been using excuses related to exercise, social bubbles and regional travel.

"These are some of the strongest powers we've ever had in the history of the NSW Police Force," he told reporters. "It's all about getting ahead of Delta [variant of Covid-19], not chasing it."
Yep. Epic Fail there too.

NSW Premiers have a reputation for chucking in the towel. Zero staying power:

New South Wales Premier Mike Baird quits politics

Mike Baird, the leader of Australia's most populous state, New South Wales, has announced he is quitting politics.

At a tearful news conference, the premier said he would stand down after 10 years in public life.

"I said many times I didn't want to become a career politician," he said on Thursday. "Today, I am making good on that pledge."

Mr Baird was one of Australia's most popular politicians, but recent polls showed a drop in his approval rating.

He said his resignation would take effect immediately after a party meeting next week to elect a new leader.

Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian is considered his most likely successor.
That turned out well
