we used visa-go based in edinburgh. really great communication and service but i'm sure others can recommend more and then contact them and see who you like best:D fees vary between agents - cheapest isn't always best:p

im using 1st contact and so far so good,if i email a question they answere back within an hour or so,infact they have have been so informative that i rarely have a question,i did wonder why i never received any info direct by the aus gov when we did our TRA and visa application but they promptly put my mind at rest and said that they are our representatives and all acknowledgements are past on to them first and sent attatchment letters with email to show us replys ect, they charged roughly £1600 (not including med/police checks).
It is scary knowing that all that money handed over with a hope of a new life could be ruined by con ageny's or very slack and incompetent ones, i was VERY VERY worried at one stage as i read on past threads AFTER i already signed up with 1st contact that they were rip of merchants and someone quoted that they wouldnt touch them with a barge poll but after looking at the dates of the threads that they were back in 2003-4,but if you look at recent threads i have seen and heard nothing but praise for them, well i give them credit,my OH has no qualification or certs to prove his trade as he was on the job trained, most witnesses are diseased, but they got us through our TRA first time,

Yep, Visa-Go or Ian Harrop - both solid, reputable agents.

we used concept australia in manchester, 2 blokes (martin and steve), who used to work at the australian consulate in manchester (one used to be a CO). the cost they charged was about 1200 pounds, which we paid in 3 stages. dont know where you are, but we could go down to their office and take documents down. they also have a website.

hi there

We used Go matilda for our visa, been here in brisbane for 6 months and it has flown by.I also have a mate in the uk using go Matilda(he was using another agent and was very unhappy with them) since he has been with Go Matilda he has been getting a great responce, your contact there is Marina and she was A1 in our eyes.

Good luck with your application

hello!

Just wanted to ask what your Oh does? My husband is a chef and has the same problem - no certificates as he never completed his day release at college but was on-the-job trained and has been a chef for the past 20/21 years now. What did you do in this instance?

Cheers:) Lynn
