For the girls: Shopping in Oz?
I have never been to Australia. Compared to the UK, how is shopping in Australia? I am flying out on a 457 Visa in June and was planning to take just a couple of things and buy the rest in Oz. To be precise I am going to take everything that I can stuff in my suitcase and hand luggage, but that’s not a lot, is it?
I love the stuff from Zara and Mango. I get excited about bikinis and undies at Primark and House of Fraser is my temple! I was wondering whether I will get this kind of stuff in Sydney.
Will I regret not to stock up on clothes, shoes and bags? Is it wise to rely on the Australian Retail Industry for some fashion?

You also have to be careful with the opening hours in WA.
If the Sun is 3.54 minutes away from its meridian, the stars are aligned in such a way that the cosmic forces are in balance, whilst Haley's Comet is 2 light years from the Northen Hemisphere in winter, you might (just) find a shop in Perth that is open at a time convenient for you!
Personally I'd say Melbourne has the best shopping selection and prices of all the States I went to in Australia.
