Girl's help please!

Hi everyone

Can anyone think of a really nice present that I can give to my two best friends as I leave them behind?

They have been absolutely fantastic and encouraged us all the way, unlike what I would have been like, as I am a selfish cow and would have kept telling them not to go!!

I really can't think of anything that will last and that they can look at and think of all the good times we have shared and I am running out of time, fast! Can anyone help please?

You could buy a couple of disposable cameras and go and have a mad night out together, pop it in the hour developers and fill an album that way....if you have time. When do you go???

But it is a great idea and think i will start collecting photos of me and my friends and start filling an album.

good luck
Nickie

This is going to sound like I am really awkward, but I live in England but I am Scottish. One best friend in Aberdeen and one best friend here in England so won't be having a night out with them before I go but will obviously see them :)

We fly on the 3rd Jan but what with having to say goodbye, hubby's gran dying from cancer and being at the hospital all the time and Xmas etc., every weekend until we go is fully booked. I thought about buying an ornament or a piece of jewellery but they are personal taste, not sure, what do you think?

Could you buy a piece of jewellery that has an emotional significance?

I am going to buy my best friend Emma a bracelet from Clogau which do welsh jewellery as we are both welsh and welsh gold is extremely rare - as I think a friendship such as ours is.....

Don't know if that helps you.

Sorry to hear about your hubbys gran.

Erm this is a tricky one....

Why dont you buy them something to match your personality, so when they look at it they think of you and it makes them smile....
so if your whacky and off the wall, buy them something totally mad.
If your quiet and surreen, buy them something tranquil....

Do you see where im coming from??

If I was going to buy my friends something to match my personality it would be totally tasteless and off the wall and maybe a bit childish....cos i do like to lower the tone..lol :D

good luck.

Hi Lau and Nickie, I am so crap. I never buy a present for anyone, give them all gift vouchers and money at Xmas. Somehow don't think anyone is going to miss my Xmas presents next year!!! :D

I am a bit loud and wacky so I will try and think along that lines of something I could buy.

Thanks for the thoughts on Marc's gran and I sure hope for her sake that it happens soon. God bless her.

S-j computers and myself have a love hate relationship. I love them but they hate me. Only recently my baby sister showed me how to put photos onto the computer from my camera. Felt like a right numpty  Anyway chick, only 6 days to go and you have the time to chat on here, I suppose you are just waiting to go now. 7 weeks for us and I am shi**ing it. PM me when you get to the other side.
