Question Girls Football

Hi, Can Anyone Help Us. We Are Looking Into Emigrating To Australia Next Year, We Have Been Reading Up And Learning So Much Through This Website But I Have So Many Questions!!!! We Would Like To Come To Perth, So My First Question Is For My 15 Year Old Daughter, She Plays Football For A Professional League Team Here In The Uk. Are There Any Ladies Teams In Perth? She Will Also Be Going To College In September To Study Sports/football, Does Anyone Know Of A Good College She Could Continue To Study This In Perth? I Won't Ask Any More!!! Leave That For Next Time,many Thanks J&j

Not to sure, what the situation is in Perth. I'm writing this as a poster from Melbourne, that is very much into real football.

All I can say is, there are plenty of teams scattered around this country, and the Aussie female football team, "the Matildas" gets plenty of press coverage when they play. There is bound to be a proficient female football league in WA.

Right now, the "sleeping giant" that is football is on a real roll in this country, and is in waking up mode, which I'm very grateful for after being here for 26 years and having to endure it's coma like state. From that point of view your lucky to be coming over now, rather than say 3 years or more ago.

Being a player for a professional club, your Daughter should contact the following people, they will advise what to do.

Lots of girl football teams in Perth...which surprised me actually. My next door neighbour is a coach for a football girls team in Heathridge and go all over every weekend.
