You beat me to this one. Use to make me smile when I received letters from Allianz. He could also be known as T Towell.

When I taught in SW Sydney there were a pair of Asian twins known as Pepsi and Fanta. Of course the name Phuc (pronounced Fook) can be interesting for a beginning teacher. A friend of mine, on his first day, pronounced it with the short vowel sound. Another friend tells of a girl he taught called Bumsuk (pronounced Bomsook) and Layme.

A friend married a guy called Taylor and called their first daughter Jennifer. Said they were calling her Jenny. I said it wasn't a good idea.

Girl at work has a friend who married a guy called Dick Beaver. Her surname before they were married was Strange. Now she's Mrs Dick Strange-Beaver

My chemistry teacher at school was Mr Boyle. My religious education teacher was Rev Kille. My gardening club teacher was Mr Jardine (as in le jardin).

An ex colleague of mine know a lady called Hazel who married a Mr Nutt, no word of a lie.
