Fruit Bats

Can anyone suggest how I can stop these creatures from stealing my oranges? I have tried netting the trees but they are still getting to them. any ideas?

Plant Mango trees and they'll steal them instead. I miss the bat's (except their orange poo), they're so cute.

I remember well the taste of freshly picked frozen strawberries straight off the plant. Ah the joys of a Canberra winter.:D:D

Sorry, I didn't read Canberra - I always associate fruit bats with more tropical climates - the poor little buggers must freeze down there.

Great way to stop them sh!tt!ng on your car. On street parking where I live and a large fig tree. I came back from holiday one year and my car was brown.

:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Most people in the world appreciate seasons. I know I do. Apart from anything else, most people look better in more clothes!! And the Canberra summer is hotter than Sydney or Melbourne or many other places.
