The Footy is back......

Watched the Lions v Bombers game tonight.
What a lacklustre performance from Essendon in the 4th!
Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!
The game was in the bag for them & they blew it....

But it's that kind of last minute turnaround which makes Aussie Rules so bloody fantastic and exciting!!!:):)

Can't wait for the Western Derby on Sunday....

Freo???? havent heard about them at all, its all been West Coast and how fast they can run. Can Freo do what the coppers couldnt and catch him?

Yeah but http://www.tabtipping.com isnt running yet and if we use the same as last time alot of poeple wont have to re-register etc. Cant be long now though.

Have you heard that at this years home games, the Eagles team bus will be stopping suddenly at Leederville, and the players then have to run the rest of the way to Subi Oval?!? (without spilling their beer).:D:D

Simplest of the simple rules to get started are.... if someone catches the footy from a kick its called a "mark" & he can't be tackled until umpire calls play on.

A goal thru the centre ie two tall posts is worth 6 points.

a behind thru the tall post & short post is worth 1 point

so if score was 2 goals 3 behinds it would = 15 points.
