Hi guys, just wanting to know how i can go about paying for a flight for my daughter who lives in the UK, and i live in Oz.

I found a flight with ONE seat left, it was perfect but whizzing thru the payment process and it basically only lets me insert an english address for the credit card holder. Aaaaaaaaarggghhhh!!!!!!!

It was a great deal and about 200 pounds cheaper than on the airlines own website.

Any hints tips or tricks i should know about?

How can i pay for her flight when i live in Oz?

Yes many sites are very careful about these things because of scams from overseas. I would have thought as with buying anything overseas a credit card would be acceptable. Is it possible to use your daughters address or does it have to match the card holders given address ? Does the company have a contact phone number you could call ?

Yeah the card holder address only has options for a british address.

I could call them on monday but as there was only one seat left it may well have gone by then. Even over the phone i'm not sure they'd accept it.

No you can't. They were going to allow it a few years back but it never materialised. You'd have to transfer the money to your daughter and have her book it from there.

If the company has a contact number, it's worth checking with them. Although this was 3 years ago, I paid for my daughter's flight from Oz with a credit card, the company we used was The Flight Centre in the UK.

I booked a return ticket for my son from UK to Australia and paid with an Aus credit card in 2010 - it was from the Qantas site though rather than through an agency so maybe different agencies have different rulings. I just went through their UK website.

I bought a BA flight today online using Aussie CC. Must be agency/airline rules that they choose to restrict or not.

Maybe agency rules but can't be airline as i tried to book emirates earlier and the agency wouldn't allow it, but a change of agency and its all done
