What is this all about.. Has the DIAC speed up their visa processing rates... which months are they curretnly processing

There seems to be a pattern where loads of visas get granted all at once or within a short space of time and then things go quiet for a while. It seems to happen every couple of weeks.

Initially 176 FS in early Feb but converted to SS in May. We have a CO and the PCCs are in and the Meds finalised - 'just waiting for the visas. And the house is sold (well, under offer) so my OH and I are beginning to feel anxious now.
