We've recieved a text from the SES to get to high ground this morning, then I found out I am on the high ground already & best place is to stay inside the house, well we really cant get out as the town is totally flooded out.

I'd be more worried about the crocs.

We stocked up on pot noodles, tinned soup, water and UHT milk just incase the floods make it down here. There's no flooding here yet but things could change so have topped up the larder with some non-perishables. We may also have people from Brisbane city looking for somewhere to stay so thought it would be good to get in some food for them.

Flood likely to peak in Brisbane CBD on Thursday, Suburbs are a little TBD ... Northside seems to have copped it more at the moment but it aint over yet ... Will be ongoing for a while yet ...
