Fitted wardrobes or ship wardrobes?

Fitted wardrobes or ship wardrobes?
Our children need new wardrobes, but we are hoping to be in Perth by September. We will be renting for at least a year when we get there (maybe for ever more) but I was just wondering if the houses in Australia tend to have fitted wardrobes in all the bedrooms.
I was planning to buy some mid-priced bedroom furniture from Argos because even Ikea in WA seems much more expensive, but I'm wondering if it would be a waste of time buying wardrobes.

In my experiece of living in 2 houses here in qld and having viewed a fair few others too! I found that pretty much all houses have built in wardrobes so I'd say don't waste your cash.

Agree with oz bound. The majoriy of houses have them built in
