Don't, just don't.
I still am haunted by nightmares of queuing up in Woolworths with my 74p...my mum saying "Are you sure, its a lot of money?"....listening to it endlessly on my mum's old Dansette player until I'd learned all the words....

Aaaargh!!! Why!!! Why???

Maybe I should not admit I have this on my Ipod then . I should also probably not admit that my first single was Can't stop the Music by the village people. Which I don't have on my ipod but would if it was on itunes!!!

Heart of Glass, Blondie.

What a coming of age song.
Actually. more precisely, for an 11 year old boy, what a coming of age video.

I did buy that one, though it wasn't my first. I will admit to it being the first record that I had a smoochy slow dance to though

The first singles I bought for myself were the "sex pack" a set of 6 45rpm singles by the Sex Pistols. I bought them from Raynors & the old lady that served me told me I'd bought the most disgusting music she had ever heard & my parents should be ashamed.
I couldn't wait to get home & play them

The first single my mum bought for me was Without You by Harry Neilson

First single was Tommy Gun by the Clash.

I still play the Clash and the Buzcocks in my car to my kids. My youngest is 4 and his favourite record is 'I Believe' by the Buzcocks.
