Bang on. It gets to 40plus probably for a week or 2 each year or as little as the odd weekend or 2. It's the fuel load.

VIC is as brown as I have ever seen it. I notice it alot recently we had Feb grass in November. It's almost tragic.

Other states also have bushfire seasons - they start earlier and finish earlier. But the southern states do cop it.
