maradona 86 and 90.....and 94 just cos seeing him at the world cup was amazing....i just ordered a dvd about him for £4 made in 2006 check it out.....you know if england top the group we should get australia:rofl:

Bobby Charlton is probably Englands best World Cup footballer, Rooney could take the mantle of off him if he has an Epiphany this year
George Best, easily Northern Irelands
Scotlands a bit tricky.... Dennis Law ? They actually had some very good players in the late 60's and through the 70's Billy Bremner ?

Aus.... I'm praying that its going to be Tim Cahill's year..... Aussies performance always comes down to one key player though.....Brett Emmerton.

As a player very few, as a man with such talent even fewer.
Could name a number of Scots players from the 50s,60s, 70s but think Kenny Dalglish deserves a mention.

Yes, but unlike Pele and especially Maradona, Cryuff was unable to single handedly win the world cup for his country.

You have obvious forgotten that Australia have beaten England. Ok, in a friendly. England fielded their second team in the first half but changed almost their whole team in the second half but still couldn't win.
