Not the same thing - there's not a lot you can do about your skin colour really, and accents can be nigh on impossible to alter too (although some people do try, and succeed). And neither has to have an impact on your health.
Your weight, on the other hand, is within your control - and anyone with self respect and self control would at least try to take steps to attain a healthy weight. It isn't the same as colour or accent at all.

You clearly have never ever had a problem with your weight to come out with such sanctimonious drivel.

Not santimonious - anyone who is unhealthily large is that way because they either can't or won't do anything about it. If they really wanted to do something about it then they could. It might not be easy or enjoyable but it is possible. If you think that is drivel then yes I'm talking drivel.

Yes it is drivel. Some people have hormone imbalances or take medications which affect their weight. Perhaps in your view it would be better if I went off the predisone which has made my weight increase. At least that way I wouldn't look so unsightly to you.

The vast majority of people can affect their weight by controlling what they eat (calories in) and what they do (calories out). Of course there are medical circumstances which influence this for some people at some times.
I haven't made any personal comments about anyone on here (although such comments have been made towards me), and I haven't said anything whatsoever about overweight people being ugly or 'unsightly'; I have said it is unhealthy for a person to be overweight, which is it - just as being significantly underweight is also unhealthy.

I'm with you on this one. "I have gland trouble" Aye right, stop filling your fat face with cream buns and you wont have gland trouble. There are a few exceptions but most fat people are just greedy bas**ds.

I have a gland problem and I hardly eat...so what you saying.

I don't really, but I do have a thyroid condition that makes my weight go up even if I don't eat for weeks. Depending on whether my medication is working or not. Once it's on it's hard to get rid of.
