Family of Lee Rigby appeal for calm
Statement excerpt --
"We would like to emphasise that Lee would not want people to use his name as an excuse to carry out attacks against others. We would not wish any other families to go through this harrowing experience and appeal to everyone to keep calm and show their respect in a peaceful manner."
In the statement from his mother and stepfather Lyn and Ian, wife Rebecca and son Jack, among others, they said the soldier "had many friends from different walks of life – some with different religious beliefs and cultures. But this made no difference to Lee – he always treated others with the greatest of respect."

Extremists have no respect. They have their own agenda, and stirring up hatred is part of it.

Shouldn't we be more concerned with direct racist actions in the UK.
This forum is small change and represents a range of opinions. There is bound to be a few racists.

OMG!
Just listen to you lot, floatsy posts part of an excerpt from an article about the Rigby family appealing for calm in their time of mourning. And what happens? Bernieboy turns into a vitriolic thread, about racism, extremism and hatred.
Please at least have some respect and give it a break until this soldier has been laid to rest.
Jeez.

You are the one stirring the racist pot, and people are simply calling you out on what you are. Not rocket science.
