And while I'm on Surf is really good, not surf but Surf soap powder you understand. It comes as a concentrate and lasts forever at about 7 bucks a box.

Yes, but it doesn't get the clothes clean so it's irrelevant whether it's ethical or gentle on the skin In my opinion anyway.

I go by smell and how it cleans. Haven't a clue what's in the cupboard except that it's an aloe vera version

You get even better results if you add a softener to the wash as well, ie; comfort, kindness etc
