Re: Facebook down
Can you imagine if it really did go down for like a week!
It would be like a nation full of drug users who thought they had enough supply but suddenly found they have run dry and can't get another score. The train to work would be full of people trying time after time to access facebook whilst talking to themselves and laughing manically , some in the fetal position rocking back and forth. What would office workers do all day without facebook access? Already short attention spans would decrease further with the reality that the only choice is between looking at that boring spreadsheet or going for a shit. I don't have facebook so I wouldn't know. I read a book or look out of the window at what there is to see on my journey to work. Would love for facebook to go down properly for a full week just as a social experiment and see how each day progresses. |

Re: Facebook down
A considerably less exciting sequel to Black Hawk Down?
Watership Down was certainly not a patch on it. |
Re: Facebook down
Absolute worst selfie seen recently, couple posing all dressed up wide grins, typical seflie, but in the background you can see flowers, somber looking building ...... white hearse
I mean really!!! people are so bloody ignorant and people commenting oh you look so well, gorgeous! unlike the poor fella in the coffin then. |

People would simply switch over to other mediums of communication like Twitter or Whatsapp. I would love to see home and mobile internet go down for a week. Suddenly the parks would be full of families enjoying eachother's company. Board games would have a spike in sales and teenagers and kids would actually go out to socialise with their friends. What a difference it would make

Such fun when kids friends come over for a sleepover and board games come out. Some kids are so excited by them that they want to play them all weekend because I don't think they've ever played them before. We have a really fun easy one that some South African friends in Dubai gave my kids when we lived there because my kids loved it so much, it's the junior version of the game "30 seconds" (30 Seconds - The Quick Thinking Fast Talking Game30 Seconds -).
Another game we've enjoyed for years has been Rumicub - similar to the rummy card game.

The fast-moving quick-thinking games are the best. One of our favourites is "Pass the bomb". Where you need to think quick to pass the bomb before it goes off in your hands. We've had hours of laughter with that one
