You would think that now Ten had more than 1 channel they could show these things live or give it to Foxtel

The Viagra Dwarf (aka Bernie Eccolstone) wants Australia to change to a night race to show it live in the UK and Europe, but this would then mean that Ch 10 would show the Australian race at 11pm as per normal. They have never shown any other race live except the AGP, but only due to the fact that the V8 Supercars have more following here in Australia, hence the reason why they will fight to keep it for ratings. Others like Malaysia and Japan have been screened "live", but with at least 60-90 miniutes delay.

Who's this "Mark Webber" character? I've heard mention of him on a few British sites. The Australian commentators often speak of an "Australia's Markwebber" Are these the same person?

I used to be able to watch them live using TVants, or TVU and tune it into the Star Sports channel (its a Hong Kong channel, but has english commentary, part of ESPN I believe). But I've noticed thats been shut down this season.

There also used to be a chinese channel that broadcast it over the internet, but with mandarin commentary. I'm not sure if that is still going, I'll check it out.

chanel Ten said they were going to broadcast it live on their HD channel but they changed their minds about a week ago in favour of neighbours re-runs or some thing about c-list celebrities being able to dance whilst having their wifes swapped or some such.

I decided a few years back that the only way to follow it live is to put up with just reading the BBC as-it-happens commentary on their website. At least then I get some idea of what's happening
