Equivalents in Oz please
 

Ok so we stacked a good lot of pull ups in the cases as I was concerned that we'd go backwards all the progress we'd made toilet training little man - I was right (thought wish I hadn't been), he's gone from beign a little star to totally not interested about no1s or 2s anywhere but pull ups or nappy.
No pampers over here !!! So whats the equivalent or am I actually going to have to buy HUggies :(

Anyone know what the equivalent to RObinsons Orange or TEsco orange (the one with the green cap) is over here ?
The cordial on offer is pretty dire and i've never liked just drinking water unless im really that thirsty. Milk is ok but don't want to drink lots of that or I just get thirsty.

Anyone think of anything else might be helpful

what's wrong with huggies? surely if it keeps the poo in, that's all you have to worry about?! what am I missing here?!!! :)

Hi,

Can't help on the nappy front but I thought Pampers had broken through the Oz market. As for juice. I use Cottee's dilute juice. My kids were used to the Robinsons in the UK and it took a few different tastes first.

Try Extra Juicy cordial if you can find it - the orange is delish!

We drink Diet Rite as it is sugar-free, I struggled to find sugar free cordial when we first moved - it is okay but not quite Robinsons... Some orange and mango chilled in a big glass would be great just about now.

You might find some info on one of the mums forums like kidspot.com.au, it is run by the company that run seek and is supposed to be really good....

Aldi nappies are the best, don't buy aything else...

Cottees cordial is great and the jucey one is good too...

yeah i agree about cottees cordial, never really noticed the difference, but to be honest i never rated pampers anyway after 3 boys!!! huggies i've always used failing that coles or woolies own are fab honest!!! be in out to be honest if you are in oz to stay dont try and find alternatives but try to find the best of what they have to offer as any british products will be a distant memory, in fact back here in the uk i look now for alternatives from oz!!!!not for long 30 months!:)

Never had any kids but with all these modern things around it should be fairly easy. A woman at the checkout the other day had some marked 14-18 kilos, one of them should only need changing about once a week shouldn't it?

I really hope that this wasn't meant to be a serious reply.

14-18 kilos is for the weight of the child.

14-18 kilos of something that resembles a nuclear waste by product in 1 nappy would put off any parent from having a second child.:eek:

I find Cottees cordial dire.

I don't find Bickfords dire. To me it's as good as or better than anything I used to get in the UK.

So not all cordial is dire down here. Then again it's all subject to personal taste and we're all different.

I don't really understand the Pampers problem. We used to use them in the UK and here we use Woolies home brand or Babylove. Not found any problems with them (except when we've forgotten to increase the size of the nappy in line with the increasing size of the child :D).

i found bickfords to be the best of the cordials. as for nappies have you ever thought of trying cloth ones? if your trying to toilet train. they get wet so the little one knows when they have been.

I'll second all of that :0) Aldi nappies are branded 'Mamia' and are far softer and cheaper than Huggies.
