On a serious note, the price of funerals is ridiculous. So I have told hubby to donate my body to science and no funeral needed. I am damn serious too. Either that or a bloody rag and a bonfire. Its damn criminal. My brain however is going to be donated to MS for studying. Jo
My sister has already summed me up at dad's funeral as a "wonderful wife and mother" -nothing about my abilities, whereas my brother was intelligent, hardworking and a successful businessman, and my daughter was beautiful, caring and talented. So I have no good qualities myself and am only defined by my nurturing role. Don't need to put that on any grave. |

Oh, that's where my brain is going. Hopefully not for a while yet though.

Re: epitaph?
Yeah, I know she meant well, but still, have I no talents at all other than to raise a child and love a husband? Could have been worse- at least she used the word "wonderful".

You are doing ok Caroline. Your children will cry at your funeral. Debt collectors will cry at mine.... |
Re: epitaph?
Mine will probably be a bill from Dignitas. Although perhaps they request you settle up first. I'm not sentimental enough to want to slope off slowly.
