Emirates Skywards

Anyone else noticed Emirates seem to have changed their earning and spending miles rates/tiers?
Some rates seem to have gone up, some down but upgrades now need way more miles.

Something recent? Because ages ago they really upped the miles needed for upgrades from the cheaper fares...maybe a couple of years ago now.

Yeah seems to be since New Year, or maybe since the new website.
I upgraded on New Year from economy saver LGW-DXB and cost 32,500 miles. Now a whopping 57,500!
Also tried to check miles and tier miles awarded and got different answer.

Didn't hear anything about it but then I don't really follow EK.

Funnily enough a similar question just asked on FT:

Did upgrade with miles rates rise? - FlyerTalk Forums

Maybe it's a system problem or maybe they really have done a no notice devaluation of the program?
