Ebay account in Oz?
 

Hi all,
I'm sure this has been answered before, but I can't find anything on searching.
I have built up a good reputation on Ebay UK, can I transfer my account to Oz with my feedback, or continue to use this account?

I use my UK account to buy stuff for my mum & dad who live over there. If you go to ebay.com.au you can still sign in and it gives you all costs in AUD and you can buy stuff fine. i think you'd just need to change your delivery address. Paypal may be affected as you need to confirm your address etc along with your bank account details. But Ebay don't hold vital info (bank details) so im sure just keeping everything the same is fine.

You can email ebay and they will arrange for your account to become an Australian account with all your rep and everything still intact.

This is what i did as well, just change your address and you log in as normal.

I changed mine because of the paypal bit. You are not supposed to hold a UK ebay account if you are not resident in the country apparently!
I found both paypal & ebay very helpful in guiding me through the whole process!

Is that true? Is that just for sellars?

I have an Ebay UK account and an Italian one. I set both of them up from Italy because the Italians don't seem to have grasped the idea of a bargain yet and the same item up for sale is nearly always cheaper on the UK site, if not half price .... even including a little extra for shipping.

I'm not a seller. Surely I can buy from any Ebay?
