Doing business from other side of the world - would you do it!
We are selling a business which is taking for ever. We booked our flights weeks ago thinking it would have gone through by now. We have sold the house and sent the money over and are due to fly out on the 9th Jan 08. The business will not go throught till mid January now because we are so close to Christmas. I have been on the phone all morning trying to change our flights but there is either non available or to expensive. Just wanted to know if anyone has done a deal whilst on the other side of the world and moved money via solicitors etc.
We are getting really stressed - we only have 4 weeks left and Christmas in between.
help!!

hi
how far has the sale been going.
im sure its the same as a resedential sale just give your solicitor power of attorney to exchange contracts on your behalf and money can then be sent to you

It is a shop we are selling so direct debits, stock sale and things like that have to be done aswell. At this moment in time it is looking like one of us will have to come back.

Someone the people AROUND YOU trust as well, since too many people give all their money to their favourite person to look after and that favourite turns out to be a scumbag (but nobody listened to the rest of the family)
