K my missus has what I call Debbie Logic, some of us fellas must have wives / girlfriends / fiances / partners who have their own LOGIC.

So heres todays connundrum..

Whilst talking about Harry our resident Huntsman ( size of a HAND ) lol..

we started discussing 3 legged races..

So question is,

If two spiders had a 3 legged race, spider style.. how many legs are their in total?

She reckons 15..

My thoughts are perhaps thats not correct pmsl.. THIS IS TRUE, please help, before i kill her

Well I'd have guessed 12 - if the middle halves pair up that makes 4 "double" legs and then the outside 4 on each spider would make 12. Unless your huntsman is an amputee of course!

well if 2 men do a three legged race.. thay have 4 legs between them.

2 connected together = 1 leg and one other leg each

equals 3 ( hence 3 legged race )

so if 2 eight legged spiders join 4 legs each together ( 8 legs total ) = 4 legs + 4 legs each = 12 legs

I know how she got 15 and if you think about it it is quite logical.

Each spider has 8 legs, 16 in total

You only tie one each of their legs together, they still have 7 free

7 + 7 is 14 and add the two tied together as one and you get 15!
