It's such a tragic story. That poor girl savaged to death because she was friends with a girl who had a stupid, irresponsible mother.
Thankfully, these dogs were shot dead by armed police. Lets hope the woman that owned them is prosecuted. If she knew they didn't like children and could be aggressive, how could she have even one dog, let alone 5?

Some people should never be allowed to own dogs but unless they have been banned sadly you can't stop them.

The breeds as listed certainly are legal in the UK, and the fact that they were in the house is a loophole that should be closed.

I understand the emotion but if the breeds are legal, why should they not be in the house? There's only one loophole to my mind and that's a ****wit being allowed to own five dogs in a small house. You can't have that many dogs here on acreage without approval, let alone a small residental house.

Nobody should have dogs that are out of control and vicious. The law should change. In my opinion, if that woman knew her dogs didn't like young people and she allowed her daughter to bring friends into the home, then she has some responsibility.
