However, if you have favorite shoes in UK, buy lots and bring with you.

well yes, but many of the ladies have mentioned quality etc. Mens shoes are shite, say what you like. I get mine from England on the net. They are available in Melbourne at twice the price and 400 klms away.

Yep, but keep 'me clean. Just paid $110 to have 2 x pairs destroyed by AQIS. :rolleyes:

Waiting to see which one of us is missing shoes. :lol:

Oh bugger. Our container arrived in Port on Monday supposedly and am waiting to see whether we get the full search and destroy thing.

Well we passed customs inspection today, delivery to residence on Tuesday. :thumbup:

Choice was: $165 to clean & re-inspect or $110 to destroy. No description of shoes given. :blink:

I don't know where people are looking for things quite honestly. In Perth my husband buys excellent quality shoes and clothes. I think he bought his last pair of shoes at the Florsheim shop on Hay St. Me? I buy the same Italian leather shoes here at Meyer I would have bought overseas. As for clothes, the quality of what I bought in London is no different to the quality I bought in the US or here.

That's crazy $110 to destroy! The only thing I'm really worried about is the lawn mower, any dirt or residue we couldn't get off is actually from Australia (didn't mow lawns in the desert) but I'm sure they won't take that as an excuse.
