Has anyone any thoughts on this? Does it happen everytime you visit?

Sorry to hear your news, and reasons for returning.

I am off on a similar quest tomorrow :(

However, my point is... I dont actually think of England as home, and I never consciously stop myself from accidentally calling it home, because for me.. this is home.

I really do not want to return, and am not looking forward to it, in any capacity, irrespective of the reason's for the visit.

Hope your 'pangs' wain :) good luck Ste

So on the bright side that means I get to persuade hubby I will need to travel July August home to see sister.

Quoll - I agree, my dash off the plan in Heathrow is the fastest I move! Have even managed to persuade sister to take me to Tescos at 6am. I know it is not everyones cup of tea but wheeling round my new niece at 6.30 round the aisles I was crying my eyes out!

And I had egg and cress sandwiches for tea!

I was in an Asda in High Wycombe with my mate by about 7,30am the day I arrived, with a trolley full of a healthy diet of cider, cheese, cockles and crisps. Check out staff thought I was crackers, walking round in a t shirt. They kept asking A"ren't you cold?" and couldn't understand me saying "yes, isn't it fantastic! I'm freezing and its heavenly!!"

Agreed. I find it easy going home. I do it a couple of times a day ;) I've got a trip back in June (no I'm not going with Vim ) and am already looking forward to coming back home after.

My thoughts entirely ...

When people think of here as being home..as we do, because it is ...then any trips back to the UK will be seen in the context of visiting family and friends.
Then they can return home, and get on with their lives.
:)

How did you get the small cress???? I cannot find it anywhere here. Can you get people to send you seeds? I asked but they said no to me bringing any in.

Cheers

Cheers - have checked regularly and never seen the cress seeds - will be making sure Bunnings get them in. My mouth is watering at the thought.
