my hubby said to the site manager 'how hard can it be to dig a hole and put a lump of plastic in it?';)
Just get loads of advice, have a look around. I'm sure you'll be able to do it much cheaper.

Hi Aston

Firstly, hope everything is going well for you, have followed some of your threads and it sounds like you have achieved lots so far.

Regards the pool , we have spent the weekend looking and prices are coming out at just under $30,000.....!

O/H is a concretor and he has done a few pools for people, he is talking about getting the pool people to dig out, place the pool, prop it and fill. At this point they leave it for 7 days and come back to fix in place with concrete. Other half reckons he can do this himself to save us money, I am worried about the guarantee though, surely they will not provide one if they haven't fitted it completely?

I was mortified when O/H said I am just going to ask 'how much to dig a hole and plop in the pool?'.....needless to say I advised him not to go down that road otherwise we would get thrown out!!

Will watch this thread!
