pronounce the place names in oz totally wrong then get slated cause your a "thick pom".I've been reading up on quite a few places and the names can be a right mouthful or is it me just being dumb?:o:confused:;)

Yeah all the time pronounce it wrong :lol: but far from them saying you're thick, you just laugh about it! I normally sneakily ask them how to pronounce such and such ;) You should've heard how my OH pronounced Ormeau :rofl: mind you TheWoodz did too :rofl:

I just tell them I'm eccentric cos I'm a pom, they're used to that at work now :blink: Anyone takes the mick out of me pronouncing placenames, I just give them some Welsh ones in return :rofl:
