Dive schools Perth

Need some advice about Dive schools in Perth. I want to get the hubbie a diving course for Christmas but have no idea whatsoever about them! Can anyone recommend a good course/diving school for a beginner please. I found this one

The gold course looks like the sort of thing but I'd prefer to go with a recommendation if possible cause I really haven't a clue about whats required

Get him a PADI open water course it's become the Australian standard course for entry to diving. You do a couple of days theory & a couple of days diving. Oh he'll need to pass the medical & swim test prior to starting.

Thanks Cresta, looking through the net they all seem to offer PADI courses and prices seem to be much the same so I'm kind off guessing it doesn't really matter which one I go for:unsure: Medical and swim test should be no problem for him.

Yep much of a muchness lol. You'll soon come to realise that PADI = put another dollar in.
You may get lucky & find someone on here that can recommend a local shop.
