the full page adverts in the papers this week from that electronics guy telling the Aussie women to do their bit for the Country and have some more kids?? Seems to me he might be preaching to the choir in some respects as a lot of them (the Aussie women) are giving it the "Well I've got 4 and I think I'll have another 2 before I stop" Are they mad???? :eek:

seriously though.... Australia may well be up sh*t creek if the birth rate doesn't go up soon. I've had about 6 weeks of this in my Society class and some of the figures are really dire!

Well actually......
It wasn't a newspaper ad but a priest in the UK said a few years ago that it is the obligation of married couples to have children. :scared:

It caused an uproar from what I remember. :D

This guy is telling them to put off holidays and buying a better house so they can shell out more kids. The saddest thing is - some are actually falling for it if you listen to (and take notice of ;) ) the radio.

They don't need to - they have all the 'teeny Toon slappers' and the 'Boro & 'Pooly "Kappa Slappa's" keeping the birth rate up. Saves all the lovely young ladies from County Durham from having to do it :D :D

hi there.it was told to me by a doctor.That its big money over here having kids.he said you get loads of the goverment.The women in the surgery was on her 5th baby and 3rd husband.

Peter Costello ( aussie chancellor ) recently said to have 1 for mom, 1 for dad and 1 for Australia and then increases the amount you get for having a child in the recent budget.
