I had that problem when I first came over. I changed all my numbers to +44 or +353 for Ireland. They work for text and phone calls no probs.

I've just had to change mine FROM +44 to 00 11 44 for them to work. But the vodafone woman told me the opposite.

I'm confused

I have finlly managed to get a text to my Mam & Dad tonight, using 00 11 44

BUT - can anyone tell me how they can text me?

It works when they reply to mine, but they dont know how to find out the number they are replying to as it just has my name from their address book. If they try and text direct form the address book, it doesnt work.
