Diabetic?
 

Hi

My sister is thinking of applying for a 175 with her hubby as main applicant and 3 children. However she is a type 1 Diabetic who is insulin dependent, other than that she is in good health and her diabetes doesn't affect her every day life. Would just like to hear if anyone else has the same illness.

Hi, my eldest daughter is type 1 insulin dependant and she was included on our 136 application and we had our visas granted last year. As long as her control is good she won't have any problem. Good luck to her, I know it can be a worry.

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and as such am insulin dependent. I'm 33 and was only diagnosed 18 months ago. My control is still a little bit dodgy but getting better all the time and I've not developed any further complications. Had my meds done back in march and the specialist who saw me gave me the thumbs up. Hope that helps.
