It's my teenage son whose having sleeping problems so whilst sending him to work is tempting, drugs and alcohol isn't an option - not for him anyway

PS: Had some success this afternoon with a Richard Clayderman CD. Hoping it'll work again now

Gym & late evening sauna never fails. Ditching those part-time jobs which involve excessive stress also helped.

No maybe Richard Clayderman is more the thing than drugs and alcohol!! Have you considered bedtime stories?

Herbal Valerian?

or look into Melatonin, although you may not be comfortable with that.

Got a couple of apps on my iThing that work along the same lines ... seemed to help me but my investigations were completely unscientific ... there are some freebie ones out there.

I like the idea that the brain can be manipulated like this, cheaper than a spliff anyway ...

Sounds about right for a teenage boy just before bedtime.

I'm sure he will like this better... but I doubt he'll sleep and its nothing like Richard Clayderman.

Herbal valerian looks like a good tip. Going to try it, thanks.

It seemed to work to begin with but he got bored with them. I told him that's the whole point.

It might just work but how do I suggest that to him?

Umm the aim is to get him to sleep - not jumping around the room!
