Date Night

Tonight was going to be our "date night"

Live in babysitters are here... Spare dosh, courtesy of workers comp, all housework done and shopping....

So what do we end up doing?

I'm in our room chatting on BE having a Vape... And HE has been sucked into some bloody kinda sport on TV with the grey nomad...

Anyone else here have date nights? Are yours as exciting as ours?????

I am having a date night with the cat and dog, Mr PP is working, I am not drinking so am tempted to crack open the fig roll biscuits and make a cuppa.

Watching a DVD on my macbook in between coming on BE to check various threads.

Might be a devil and have a shower but if I were allowed, wine and maltesers would go down a treat.

Not normally, as I go to bed early, shortly after OH gets home!!!
Last night we did go out for drinks with a couple of friends. I had a glass of mulled wine which was lovely, and struggled to hear the conversation as the only wine bar in St Ives had music that was a bit loud and a lot of people talking. I did manage to stay awake though.

We don't tend to have date nights - but we do try to get away for an occasional weekend by ourselves, 2 or 3 times a year.

These usually involve sitting in the hotel room, eating room service and watching movie marathons (no, not *those* sort of movies.. well.. not all the time anyway)

God, we know how to live!

Loud music, especially bad music is annoying when trying to have a conversation. But yes it does help you stay awake.
