Re: Cult TV programmes of old and even older.

For ages and ages, I had this real nostalgic thing about "the Prisoner" with Patrick McGoohan. I tried for ages to source it on the net. I nostalgicaly remembered it, as the best and most groundbreaking TV ever.

I located it on Bittorrant recently, and downloaded all 17 episodes at 1.4 gigs it was the biggest thing I've ever downloaded. . I only watched 1 and a half episodes.

Wasn't half crap 2nd time around LOL....

Got most of Space 1999 on dvd, loved it as well as all the other Gerry & Sylvia Anderson productions. Recently got back into watching Captain Scarlet(abliet the new computerised version) on ABC2. Thinking about getting the full original set as well.

Used to hate "The Sweeney" when it was first on over here, but now regularly watch it on UKTV. And who could forget Skippy...

I can remember a programme that was a favourite in our house - can't remember the actual title but it had "Paulus the little gnome" and a witch who was always out to get him, used to be on ITV probably early - mid 1970s :p
