I know it's not really cricket but it's Ireland vs Australia in the World T20 this evening.

Go the Irish!

I would imagine even Ireland could beat the Aussies

To be honest England have come out of this summer in very good shape, No1 in ODI's and T20 and No2 in Tests

Just in case some of you old fat bastards would like to actually play cricket rather than be the arm chair critic, your more than welcome to come play at North Beach Cricket Club which is NOR in Perth. Many grades from A Grade down and abilities. Enjoying a beer or 10 after the game is a prerequisite.

Let me know if your keen. I just happen to know the sucker who is President of the club

Australian beaches are overrated, I would much rather sit in my caravan sipping on a flask of tea watching some dull dreary English landscape

So my bollockless self will pass on your kind offer, thanks

A fine pursuit for sure, summer season starts here in 2 weeks

T20 - In a shock result England start with an easy win against Afghanistan.

I heard that on the news earlier - not the result, but who they were playing, and thought I was hearing things.

It's nearly time. So who is going to win? Australia or South Africa?

Should be a good series anyway. South Africa in top form and Australia getting back up.

My money is on South Africa.

I think SA will take the series but it will be close.

I'll be at Day 2 at The Gabba, Day 1 too if my new job doesn't start sooner

Cricket Australia to considering use the (English) Duke ball and not the (Australian) Kookaburra so they can have a hope of getting The Ashes back.
