Big fan of Charles Leclerc in F1 here for his stance on the matter. |

Re: The Cricket Thread
Long article. Worth reading to the end otherwise the first segment will just lead to crying foul of racism. Being told what to do vs Not towing the company line. What's important in these delicate situations is what goes on behind closed doors, and those things are not seen by the cameras. The one knee thing is a movement after all and sports persons have a choice if they sing the national anthem or not. Surely they can have a choice about whether they display physical actions of a given movement.

Bizarre Being asked to mandate doing the virtue signally knee thing on the bus ride to the game is beyond the scope of South African Cricket. I hope he sues for travel expenses and wins.

As opposed to virtue signalling. F this current culture, can I get an End Date? 🤡 Reading on the SA news sites and many of his fellow cricketers and insiders of the game - black and white - have come out in his defence Given the messed up, virtue-signalling, identity driven world we live in in 2021, QdK may have just effectively ended his cricketing career - and given that he's only 28, that would be a heavy price to pay. There's also rumours that he's pissed off with CSA for taking the captaincy off of him earlier this - for no other reason than the colour of his skin Then you have dickheads like the ABC sports reporter, Tony Armstrong, almost in tears on breakfast TV, calling QdK a racist. WTF! The West is eating itself from within |

I'm confused by your post - QdK is mixed race, so I don't know where your 'brown shit' comes from A bizarre post - but kind of understandable also The Guardian is great for sport - but when it comes to things like economics, society, history, they are f**king hopeless, hate-filled and incredibly biased and best avoided |

Thinking about it, by CSA forcing players to take the knee, the cause of the hate-filled, ant-western, antii-democratic organisation known as BLM has been set back by a huge degree - any kind of moral highground that they have has just been brought down to ground-level. Mandating people to take a stand reduces any kind of legitimacy an organisation has. BLM needs to be pushed back against and this helps that |
Re: The Cricket Thread
QdK has announced that he will take the knee from now on
His choice |
