A very KP attitude, I would agree apart from the fact I live hereabouts, my wife likes it and therefore I am stuck with the locale for the foreseeable.

Seriously, it’s a nice place to be once you get away from the mainstream.

I am sure semi rural Brisbane is quite lovely for a long weekend getaway here and there. For me, I like living in the big smoke, where the action is on a daily basis, with regular getaways to the countryside. Each to their own I guess.

I guess if I had to work in Brisbane, I would definitely consider your location as Brisbane town is not much chop.

I wasn't going to say anything, as if the boot was on the other foot we'd be saying it's not real cricket. It's still hilarious haha

Michael Vaughn’s tweet about enforcing the follow on was a good one.

Here's a question about commentators - online ones, mainly, but TV ones too, I guess. Why do they almost always say irritating things like "He [a bowler] would have had two more wickets if he hadn't over-stepped those times." My comment is, "no he wouldn't!" By overstepping, he was closer to the wicket that he legally should have been, and that's why they call it a "no ball". By being closer, the ball reached the batsman that much quicker, and illegally so. Who knows what would have happened if he'd been a few inches further back when he let go of the ball? Anybody else bothered by this?

Oh dear, sandpaper-gate continues to cast a shadow over Australian cricket

They are now on 60 grit - rough as!

Stokesy not guilty, Facebook is full of frothing aussie cricket fans doing their nuts. It's genuinely hilarious. I suppose the last ashes should be replayed now 😂
