We've always used a bowl before coming here but have since determined that a bowl creates greater opportunties for germs to thrive. But I get Polly's point - A single sink is definately less easy to manage without a bowl.

I think a lot of people did years back

I bet it's fun and games when Polly visits Bernie in London and he's hogging the kitchen sink while she's wondering what to do with her coffee cup residue

As for the most boring thread of the year, I'm sure there are others out there
I tried to set it up as multipul choice answers.....maybe it didn't work. Lucky it worked at all really.

I don't use one but the Aussie version is bound to be:

- Of poor quality relative to wherever it was you emigrated from
- A gaudy colour
- Expensive compared to at least 70% of First World countries
- Cheaper when sourced via Poland on eBay

It did - I gave two answers and they're both showing in italics, so I assume they both worked.

Well thank you. Maybe you have to be resident in Australia for it to work.

I am taking a lot of photos - stuff all else to do.

The problem is the kids come running when they see a camera. They then adopt Ice T type gangster poses, which isn't quite what I want to photograph.

Even worse, kids here wear very little until they hit the teens. Naked boys are better endowed than me, and the teenage girls at least wear panties but half should get a bra.

I try to cut them out of the photo for obvious reasons, but they just move..... Im deleting 20% of my photos to avoid getting arrested on the way home.

You wonder why I have a breast theme? I even see them jiggling down the road every morning on the way to work. Imagine the near misses...

Didn't Gary Glitter use a similar excuse?

I don't understand this thread.

I've never had any trouble finding a washing up bowl in Australia, in fact I have two. A nice blue one in the laundry and a smart white one in the kitchen and it fits well into the larger sink of the standard double sink. I'm almost certain I got them in Bunnings, but it could have been Kmart or Woolies.

We often visit plasticware sellers as we use plastic laundry baskets (the white $3 ones) for picking avocados. One basket hold about 20kg of avos.
