lol......thats a first for me too - contacts to diaphragms.......but i can see the similarity!

i must admit, i do get on better with contacts than i did with a diaphragm.

gill, also meant to say, just keep having a poke about your eye with your lenses in (make sure your hands are clean of course!) - its just a case of getting used to them. if you can, try moving them around your eye, just so you get the feel of them. although dotnron said be careful they may tear, they are actually quite strong - ive never had one tear on me yet and i am far from careful with them!
if you find they are uncomfortable after a couple of weeks, id suggest going back to the optician - it may be you need a slight adjustment to your prescription; i did this when i started using toric lens, and the adjustment made them so comfortable i forget i have them in. you shouldnt be aware fo them.....if they feel gritty or dry you may need a different solution if the prescription is ok. I have quite dry eyes, so after trying out a couple of different solutions i finally found one that suited my eyes.

can i ask where you get them from? i use vision express, the sheffield moor branch and their staff really know their contact lenses!!

Why not try the monthly constant wear ones - put them in and leave them for 30 days if you want to - only need take them out once then - not every day?
